There was a time when Indian movie industry was categorized like the Veda system. If people wanted to get entertained-there were hardcore masala movies. If they wanted to smile-comedy movies. If they wanted to see some serious acts-art house movie. And when they wanted to get frightened - there were always good old Ramsay movies. No doubt how silly the movies were, it surely had managed to scare Indian audience a big time. Enter the Hollywood movies and satellite revolution, we got more choosy and aware about our movies, and it became easy to throw off bad products....

Love Sex Aur Dhokha

So you thought this is another sex and skin revealing movie! Don’t let voyeurism mislead you into believing that Love Sex aur Dhokha is a cheap gimmickry to titillate your senses. The film is bold, bare, intense, stark and dark but the storytelling is so superlative that it stimulates your senses.

Wake Up Sid

Strange as the title may seem, I really want you to wake up Sid ! I just cant believe that You are not there anymore. I want you to wake up as the turn of events over the last couple of days has been cruel to say the least and unjustified. Why you?

I write this piece in memory of a dear friend, a customer, an ardent supporter and more importantly a very good human being. Siddhartha Padam, Sid to me and a lot of us, was sadly killed in a fire accident in Bangalore on 23-Feb while he was at work. He along with 2 of his colleagues was snuffed out by a fire that engulfed the Carlton Towers where his office was located.

Vishal Bharadwaj, the Shakespearewalla of Hindi filmdom has scored once again, but this time under the direction of a fresh gun in the form of Abhishek Chaubey.

This one is from the Shakespearewalla of Bollywood – the Vishal Bharadwaj camp. Directed by debutante Abhishek Chaubey, Ishqiya is a crude tale of rustic emotion, deceit, conspiracy, greed and lust – a rare spicy treat for the discerning audience.

To paraphrase one Colonel Hans Landa, I regret to inform you that I’ve exhausted the extent of my English… for these crappy prologues, anyway. Yes, my vocabulary is limited to one intro a week. Thus, we skip this part for today and make do with the statement that this movie sucks donkey balls!

3 idiots

Woow.. I would give it 9/10 as rating for this film.. though it’s 8.1/10 in IMDB (still good, right?)..
What a masterpiece it is..
I give 9 for the whole film.. n 1 for the Indian song which made it dramatic (and I don’t really like it)..

Well, 3 Idiots told us a story about a journey of Raju (Sharman Joshi) and Farhan’s (Madhavan) in purpose to look for their best friends in college, Rancho (Aamir Khaan).. It’s an interesting journey they’ve got.. In the middle of the journey, we can see the flashback of their adventures in a college.. and why Raju and Farhan have big willing in finding Rancho.. The college story is interesting too.. It takes most of the film duration.. It tells us about how education works in India, what’s the primary issue, and problems that usually arise in Indian college life..
